We had a good holiday break. We didn't go anywhere, but it was nice to just hang out and relax and not worry about anything. The picture is of the kids on Christmas Eve. They were so happy to get their Christmas jammies to sleep in while waiting for Santa. Their favorite Christmas presents this year are kind of geeky. They all wanted Star Wars Light Sabers so Santa brought them some. Sam declared that Santa must be a Jedi Knight for giving them such a good gift though he was a little disappointed that it didn't really cut things. I think mom can live with that though.New Years was again kind of boring but relaxing at the same time. We just watched movies, noted when it was 2010 and went to bed.

That's how our Christmas was as well. Aren't relaxing holidays great?!? I've decided that as much as I love the huge family get-togethers, having a little peace and quiet at home on occasion--or maybe every other year, or more ;) --is a blessed thing as well! I'm glad you had such a great time with your family. :) Our kids are great, aren't they?
Someday we'll all celebrate the New Year with a little more excitement. ;) Maybe when the kids are older. . . .
